Learn MoreFrac Terminals is a company dedicated to the design, construction and via Plant Pride, the operation and maintenance of plants to manufacture, and terminals to deliver high quality processed silica sand and other proppants to the directional drilling industry.
The proppants industry can be divided into two groups: production and delivery systems. Frac Terminals has the unique ability to provide end-to-end solutions, from the production facility through the loading of the trucks that will deliver the proppant to the drilling rig.
The ability to provide design and build or EPC services for the complete cycle comes from a tightly integrated team of experts who have been immersed in the industry for many years.
The production of pure silica sand proppants involves:
Frac Terminals offers an integrated solution to these processes, providing fully automated, assimilated plants with variable outputs, capable of loading up to 700 tons per hour from a single load point. Load points can be replicated for higher output requirements.
At the other side of the production facility, the proppants arrive usually by rail or barge and must be stored, then weighed into the final delivery conveyance.
Frac Terminal designs can meet any storage and discharge requirements, including turning 100 car unit trains in 20 hours, and multiple load points to final delivery conveyance.
Our range of services on the production side of the process, coupled with our knowledge of automation and controls is unmatched in the industry.
